Paul McCartney의 곡인데 John Denver가 리메이크 했다. 어렸을 적에도 좋아 했지만 이제 50대를 반도 넘긴 지금에는 이 곡이 마치 내 처지 내 느낌을 잘 표현해 주는것 같아 더 끌린다.

1997년 10월에 나는 미국 출장 중 이었다. 일요일에 산호세 엘카미노레알에 있는 어느 한국식당에서 느긋하게 식사를 하고 있었는데 TV 에서 갑자기 긴급뉴스로 John Denver가 근처 몬터레이에서 자기가 몰던 경비행기 추락사고로 사망했단다. 내가 좋아하는 가수였는데 기분이 착잡했다. 이 노래처럼 툭 끊겼다는 생각이 들었다.
